A highly-demanding fast-growing sport, trail running takes center stage all throughout the summer in Pralognan-la-Vanoise.
Up here, the mind-blowing landscapes reward your physical endurance.
Several races and permanent circuits offer a variety distances and vertical gain well-suited for different levels and abilities.

Permanent trail runs

For beginners, experts, or those training for a race, PraloTrail has mapped out the right run for you. 7 trail runs (5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 19, and 26 km) will take you on a journey through the Vanoise Range and allow you to train in optimal conditions.

Trail running instruction

In June and August, certified mountain leaders (hiking guides) and experienced trail runners, have created within the local guide service a variety of lessons for you to start, train, and improve your trail running skills.

Introduction & skill improvement for trail runners (9:30-12:00)
Approach running in the mountains on a varied course dotted with technical sections to improve your technique, all in the majestic environment surrounding Pralognan.

Long distance: explore the mountains on a trail run (7:00-13:00)
An athletic adventure combining running and fast walking on high-alpine trails. We’ll leave early in the morning to take advantage of the cool temperatures and the calm of the mountains at sunrise. This outing will take you further and higher...
